Southern Oklahoma Regional Disposal, Inc. (S.O.R.D.) is a non-profit corporation that is owned by member municipalities and is overseen by a Board of Directors.
S.O.R.D. provides collection services for commercial and residential customers. S.O.R.D. also provides roll off boxes for construction needs for both residential and commercial customers.
S.O.R.D. owns and operates a municipal solid waste landfill located in Carter County at 31 Sord Dr, Ardmore Oklahoma. The landfill can accept solid waste products including non fryable asbestos products. Non fryable products include items like shingles and hard siding and other items that cannot be crumbled by hand. The landfill hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
S.O.R.D. operates a drop off site located at 12978 Highwy 70F, Kingston Oklahoma. They are open Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
